Established in September 1979, Leisure Learning Unlimited is a Texas corporation designed to enhance Houstonians' lifelong learning opportunities. Our goal is to provide quality, low-cost, non-credit classes throughout Houston. All of our instructors are self-employed. Some are affiliated with the Jewish Community Center, SSQQ Dance Studio, and Xpressit Language School. The printed schedule is published bi-monthly, and distributed by mail, through the following public library systems: Houston, Pasadena, Harris County, and Fort Bend County. LLU schedules are also available at the Bellaire and Texas Southern University libraries as well as business throughout the area. New class listings are continuously updated on this web site.

Transitions (Summer 2010):
-
Co-Founder/Co-Director Kathy Kamin is retiring after thirty years. The Leisure Learning staff and instructors wish her a happy and healthy retirement.
-
Roger Deeds, who worked for Leisure Learning for fifteen years, died suddenly in late June. His passing has sadden us immensely. His friendship, humor and intellect will be missed for a long time.
