Have you ever told yourself, “I can't draw?” This class unleashes the creativity you didn't know you had. Through fun drawing exercises, make a fundamental shift from left-brain mode to right-brain mode. Learn to use various materials and techniques. Either indoor or out (weather permitting), draw from nature and explore the environment. NOTE: Bring paper and pencil to the first class; a supply list will be provided for subsequent classes.
Jose Figueroa (BA Art & Art History, Rice) was the recipient of the 2001 and 2002 Individual Artist Grant from the Houston Arts Alliance. He taught Art History at Lee College from 2002 to 2004.
